Which cuties to get???

It has been DECADES ( yes don't get me right, it's THAT long) since my brothers and I wanted a dog at home. But our dream couldn't be fulfilled almost every time we begged to our parents as they don't really liked the fur and the noises that will be made by the pet. Most importantly is the poop and wee wee that will be scattered all over the place.

And one more point of view is that our maid is afraid of dogs. :X She likes cats!!! WTF. We all hate cats.

So curiosity arises these days as my parents finally AGREED to let us have one at home !!!! Maybe it's because of the fact that there are more and more dog owners that we found out during our visit to friends and relatives places this CNY.

This is soooooo COOL right??? :D

One thing that's a lil' worrying is that we're really new owners who have completely no idea which kind of dogs to rear and what are the requirements to welcome a NEW MEMBER at home.

Schnauzers and Poodles don't really lose hair that much, like what the pet shop owner said. But these two breeds aren't the breeds I'm really fond of.

Dogs that will grow really big are also out of the list.

Dogs that need grooming are also another factor to consider.

Where shall the dog sleep? My room? Downstairs?

Brothers wanted other breeds, mom and dad no comment. Mom said we must discuss properly first before she decide to get one. And we must clean poop according to a scheduled timetable lar of course. :)

Anyone with any experience??? Can give me advice???

I now have these dogs in my list, but I'm unaware which to choose.

1) Yorkshire terrier, if not mistaken.

2) Schnauzer Pup.

Schnauzer adult.

3) Silky terrier pup.

Silky terrier adult. Really very very silky loh. Maybe it's a Sunsilk advertisement.

4) Poodle pup.

Poodle adults. Looks more like a fur ball. And I dun really believe that their fur won't drop off so easily compare to the other breeds.

I don't really know how to describe all these after-groom dogs. Don't know it's creative or disgusting.

It's a poodle mind you, not a Ninja.

Hello pood, you couldn't be a Camel. I don't really think you can survive at that environment.

5) Maltese pup.

Elder bro wants this, I know he's a Kai Ye of one of his friend's dog already.

6) Pekingese.
Pekingese adult.

7) I wanted this. I really don't know why but I just love Pugs. Mom said it's ugly. :(

See, so adorable right? Got short fur some more, and then no need grooming.

8) Siberian Husky. My youngest brother wanted this so badly.

He never knew how big this dog could get to. =.=

It might have just swallowed me in.

9) Next, the famous Shih Tzu. Might consider this maybe???

How much to spend on their grooming arh??? I know it's nice here in the picture.

10) My younger brother also wants this. Golden Retriever. It's cute, friendly and HUGE too.


11) Beagle, a NO NO right now cuz it has the noisiest barks. It will never stop barking, according to pet shop owner.

Cute with costumes on right? But so sorry, you're just too noisy for us.

12) English Bulldog!!!!! Also another choice of mine!!!!!!! But bro says I'll need to clean up the saliva all the while as this dog will salivate non-stop.

12) Chow Chows. It's tOo bear-like and it'll grow HUGE too.

13) Last in the list, Chiwawas. A BIG NO NO.

One, because it's too small, two, because it'll be very noisy also.

What if one day I lost my dog out of a sudden and I went out pasting posters and once I come back I saw my dog hiding under the flower pot?

I know it's cute, but I couldn't have a "huggy" feel whenever I wanna hug you. :(

People with experience, do give some advice here.

Can I adopt dogs from SPCA? Or it's better to get one from a pet shop??
