DruM SliCes 3

Teehee... =) I finally managed to convince my parents to an artistic performance show as they really have no interest in these things... (Unless it's me who's performing...) I brought out the history of drum slices and began talking.. This happened last week...

Me: "Hey mum and dad, would you guys like to watch this performance?"

Parents: "What's that?"

Me: "Drum performances... They're having their 3rd show already.. My friends who watch the 1 and 2 say very nice wan lo.. Shouldn't miss a chance this time a..."

Dad: "How to buy the tickets?"

*evil grins*

Me: "I'll check on the Internet and let you know soon!!!"

Wow... Just a few sentences and my dad agreed.. I SO LOVE you dad... I actually expected him to buy the lowest price tickets but he bought the. . . Look below for the tickets... =) It may not be the most expensive but I felt warm in heart as I feel that I'm being supported... Thank you dad...

Part of the front seats... But from the side view lar...

The theme.

undefined.

Dad has done some research though...

He even printed them out... =.=

What more to say about this... =)

And you know what, luckily we reached there on time.... We departed from home at 7.45 pm to fetch grandma back home... By time we reached the venue, it's 8.25 pm.. The shows starting at 8.30 pm... And when those people were checking our tickets at the entrance, we were informed by those helpers there that THE SHOWS STARTING IN 2 MINUTES... We also heard  the announcement from the speakers... So you can imagine, the show started just right after we sat down, as if they were all waiting for us... =P (perasan pulak

In conclusion, this 2 hour (I think) show is kinda acceptable to me lar... My parents almost fall asleep at the 1st half of the show as they were kinda confused and don't even understand what are they trying to do...

I was irritated by kids sitting beside me who made out noises like:

"Mummy why are they staying there on the string so long wan?"

"Mummy why they must move like that wan?"

"Mummy, why no drum sound wan?" *then he made out noises-- BOOM BOOM BOOM*

"Mummy, how many more show to go?"

"Mummy  I want water..."

FED UP a.. Feel like sticking masking tape on their big mouth... And the parents also, can't you just ask your little baby to keep his mouth SHUT when others are concentrating on the show?

And yea, among all, the performance by the primary school students and our school entertains all... I personally think that the both of them went straight into the point... Not like others who goes a big round just like the 2nd performance by the hands percussion team.. They were just like passing drums all around and we were waiting for so long to hear some sound... Mum was kinda frustrated and she said "I really dunno what are they doing.. Haven't even hear any sound from the drum... "  Other than that, I heard people coughing and some voices at the back... As though showing their annoyed sign... And the kiddo beside me was asking that MUMMY question again... =.=

I never get bored with the performance from our school... It's just so awesome...

One more thing I regretted so much... I forgot to bring my camera... Sighs... Missed out loads of photo shots...

Met Mags and Yee Sin once the shows over..

And I realized that when we go outings with parents:
  1. you can't go home late
  2. you won't have chance to speak with your friends longer
  3. you will leave the place immediately to avoid traffic jams
BUT
  1. tickets are paid by them.
  2. you don't need to worry about transport to get there and to get back
  3. they won't be so worried and keep calling to make sure that we're all right
Sounds general huh? =)
